IDEAS GROW

Ideas Grow was an audience development project supported by Havering Changing to work with the community in Orchard Village, Rainham to evolve engagement in their Creative People & Places Programme. In preparation for a larger and more longer term project, we experimented with taster workshops using different approaches and content in research for what the residents in the village responded to and what the people actually wanted to continue. Delivering participatory and social art sessions, participants experienced a range of new techniques in creative practices, mindful discussions and social interactions in the workshops. Resulting in regular attendance and a lasting programme for the community called Art Jam.
